Over the past five years, Milana Herendi and Tiziana Artemisio have designed exhibition graphics for 28 exhibitions in various museums in Zurich, occasionally extending their designs into public spaces as poster campaigns.
In order to encourage visitors to immerse themselves in the content while providing clear orientation, they always seek to strike a balance between a distinctive and strong visual presence and a subtle self-evidence. Their designs give each exhibition a unique identity, guiding visitors without overpowering the content. At the same time, they integrate harmoniously into both spatial and thematic contexts, from historical topics to contemporary themes.
Through their work, Herendi Artemisio aims to demonstrate that exhibition graphics are much more than just “text in an exhibition”—they serve as a vital link between content, space and audience. Through the conscious use of typography, materials and design, they reinforce the content and create an immersive experience.
