Didier Cometti and Angelo Buonomo are designers from Basel who have been working together in fashion since 1987. In Paris, they have been developing innovative creations and a unique aesthetic vision for decades. Their work is based on a holistic approach to the body, garments and expression. This philosophy defines the duo’s DNA and guides each of their projects, whether personal or commissioned.

For this exhibition, the designers are showcasing their collaboration with Yohji Yamamoto for Letter to the Future, curated by Alessio de’Navasques, which took place at 10 Corso Como in Milan. In April 2024, he entrusted them with restoring, recovering and recreating iconic pieces. Working closely with his team, they took on this challenge with precision and creativity. Documenting every step of the process, they treated the camera as our diary. Over the years, the collaboration with Yohji Yamamoto has deepened through various styling projects. Finally, this experience inspired the book Preparatory.
