zweikommasieben is a biannual Swiss magazine that has been devoted to the documentation of contemporary music and sounds since the summer of 2011. • To reflect the idea of the contemporality of the subject, we made the decision to change the design and format for each issue. This framework allowed for setting a current perspective on the magazine and its content, processing interests in topics, formal aesthetics and typography, testing something once or chasing an idea over several issues. • In the last 11 years, 27 issues have been produced, through which contemporary music and design tendencies can be traced, as well as our development as designers. • The magazine is published by Präsens Editionen and produced by a group of friends that has expanded into an international network over the years. It has only been able to succeed thanks to the commitment of each individual. It is designed by Dorothee Dähler, Kaj Lehmann, Simon Rüegg and Raphael Schoen in varying combinations.
